Job Description:
•Calibrate and setup various field instruments; pressure/temperature/flow (indicator, switch, and transmitter).
•Troubleshoot and repair minor instrumentation problems (limit switches, solenoids, and loops).
•Perform various routine preventive maintenance; pulverizer mill process line purging, tank-o meter purging, bubbler tube de clogging/purging.
•Assist in the maintenance of Air Monitoring Station 1 & 2 (Teledyne NOX/SO2/02 Analyzers) & Continuous Emissions Monitoring Station of Unit 1 & 2 (Fisher Rosemount NOX/SOX/02 Analyzers).
•Familiarization of various functions, process flow, and instruments used on different areas of Main Plant and of Plant Auxiliaries.
•Assist in the isolation of equipments during maintenance and changeover.
•Perform various operations routine activities, parameter readings and monitoring.
•Tagged and isolate valves during isolation and scheduled maintenance.
•Layout & install pipings, tubings, and fittings of various field instruments.
•Knowledgeable with PLC (Allen Bradley RSLogix500 & RSLogix5, Bosch CL150) hooking, forcing, and Uploading / Downloading of Project).
•Knowledgeable with plant Distributed Control System (DCS) (Ovation) scanning on/off of points.
•Loop checks various Remote I/O Cabinets and verifies the status based on the termination lists.
•Installs analyzers / instruments based on installation/Maintenance Manual.
•Do other related functions.
Technical/Computer Skills:
Network Administration:
•Configuring/Troubleshoot Windows TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, ISP, and Wi-Fi
Design and Editing Applications:
•Knowledgeable in MultiSim Workbench, PCB Designer, AutoCAD 2008, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Video/Audio Editing.
Programming Languages:
•Knowledgeable in basic programming languages, Delphi 5, Borland C++, Visual Basic, Java Scripts and Turbo Pascal.
Operating System & Software:
•Intermediate user of Windows 98, 2000, Server, XP and Vista OS.
•Troubleshoot Hardware and Software Problems.
•Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access Database, Publisher and PowerPoint presentation).
Electronics:
